Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

The Link With Pride site (operated by Dominic Pérignon) collects three categories of information:

• Information you give us directly — name, email, and message contents when you fill out the contact form, suggest a resource, or subscribe to the newsletter.
• Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. Logs auto-expire after 30 days.
• Aggregate analytics — anonymized page views and referrers via privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking).

2. How we use it

We use this information to:

• Reply to your messages or send you the newsletter you asked for.
• Understand which guides and resources are most useful so we can prioritize what to work on next.
• Detect and prevent abuse, spam, or attempts to break the site.

We don't use your information to build advertising profiles or train any model. We don't sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone.

3. Who sees your data

A short list of vendors processes data on our behalf — only the minimum required to do their job:

• Hosting (server logs, page delivery)
• Email service (newsletter delivery, contact replies)
• Analytics (aggregate, anonymized usage)

We may disclose information if legally compelled — but we'll push back on overbroad requests, and where allowed by law, we'll notify you first.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use a small number of first-party cookies to remember your theme preference (light/dark) and session state. We don't use third-party advertising cookies, fingerprinting, or session-replay tools. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time without breaking the site.

5. Analytics

Our analytics records aggregate page views, referrers, and country-level location. It does not record IP addresses long-term, set cross-site cookies, or build user profiles. If you'd like to opt out, enable Do Not Track or your browser's tracking protection — we honor both.

6. Newsletter

Sign up means you'll get our newsletter. Unsubscribe in one click from any email. Your email isn't shared with sponsors or partners. If we ever introduce sponsored editions, they'll be clearly labeled and you can opt out separately.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Show you what we have on file for you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data — we'll do it within 30 days unless legally required to keep something.
• Export your data in a portable format.

Email hello@linkwithpride.com from the address on file and we'll handle it.

8. Children

The site isn't directed at people under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top and — for material changes — note them in the newsletter. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
